need to block of main fual line

I am going to try to just run off my reserve this year, so I need some ideas on what to use to block off my main line coming out of the tank.

my reserve goes to the carb. my main just feeds my primer. i put a small piece of hose on the back of the primer t with a bolt clamped in it

Feed the reserve to the carb and use the main line as a return from the carb(s).
Block of the regular return line nipple with a short hose with an appropriately sized bolt in the end and ziptie it. Probably redneck, but it's served me well for the past five years.

you can get vacuum plug's at an autopart's store that will fit right over the nipple that stick's out of the fuel tank. That would be a sanitary way of plugging it off.

I tried the bolt thing on the main line this year and it actually leaks just a bit no matter how tight the clamp was, but I guess its no big deal if its on the pulse fitting or something.
