Little update here in case others were wondering. He has a rare very aggressive form of stage 3b lung cancer and has been receiving very aggressive chemo and radiation treatments for the past 3 weeks now. He is in less pain but the treatments are taking a toll on him. He is in less pain now, but the fatigue, nausea and other symptoms are bothering him pretty bad. He seems to be taking to the treatment ok considering how much they are pumping into him, and the doctor says that he is optimistic about everything as long as his body can continue to handle the treatments. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, hopefully he can handle the treatments!!

i know how your feeling right now, and i have personaly seen someone go threw this treatment and turn around for the better. he sounds like a very stong person, and theat will help alot.

I am soo sorry about the info you just got. I lost my dad this year, actually today makes 10 months. It is hard to deal with. I am sobbing right now writing this. Make time for him and enjoy the time with him. My best wishes to you and yours.

I am new to the site and saw this thread which touched home to me. I lost my uncle with cancer and I was hit pretty hard. He seems like a great guy and you have lots of prayers coming from our home. I will send as much positive energy to him as I can! Keep his mind going with great spirits around him and he will tackle this no problem. I am a big believer in mind over body and having positive energy around someone! If there is anything we can do for your family PLEASE don't be afraid to ask because we will get it done!
