Need Advice!

Glad to hear your gonna get a SJ. You will be able to find a nice round nose in your price range. Nothing wrong with a Square though...but be sure it is a 701.

The square had a different top deck and the 61x cases...you will be happier with the 96+ for the motor alone.

Once you get it, reinforce it and go get in the surf! And pull your Dad out of retirement also!

Also, there might be other individuals who have made noteworthy contributions or won noteworthy events, such as Gary “Holeshot” Malott or Tom Koscica, each of whom won pro titles at the first ever National Championships, sanctioned by the USJSBA in 1981, but never recognized by the IJSBA. Their unique performances are worthy of mention in a Hall of Fame, though neither achieved the level of long-term success that should be a requirement to be in a Hall of Fame. Sort of like Cadillac Williams shoes are in the NFL Hall of Fame for running more than 100 yards in each of his first three NFL games. His shoes are in the HoF, but he isn't (not yet anyway).
