NE OHIO riders - looking for a few other people to ride with in my area

I ride at a small lake called Springfield lake (it's close to Akron, Ohio). It's a small lake, but pretty fun to ride on. Right now I'm the only standup that rides there... :17: Anyone live pretty close by? The lake is located right off route 224 about 3 miles East of Interstate 77. I want to find a group of people to ride with on a somewhat regular basis.

I definately prefer Springfield Lake because it's only like 10 minutes from my house. Berlin, West Branch, and Milton are kinda close but about 30-40 minutes farther away.

It takes more than an hour to drive to Lake Erie, so I'm not really interested in riding up there all the time... although I will prob make a few trips up next season.

mostly pleasent hill just casue they heat up so fast. We usually ride erie though gotta love the big water. We dont ride standups though blasters and
hx's.

That's cool. Where is pleasent hill? If you have any friends who may be interested in purchasing one or two really nice custom blasters let me know.... I am trying to sell mine to raise some money as well as get me back in good standings with the wife! haha... they can be seen on this site or pwctoday's for sale section. I would like to ride lake erie if it was about 1/2 the distance.... I would do the same thing you guys do then like you said in your post....

We have a crew of about 12-15 standups in Cleveland. Definately come on up and ride anytime, especially for the RockNRide! :dance:

Its the exit after mansfield going south on 71 then down some country
roads, Its in BFE. Small lake but clean and possibly the
funnest boat ramps in the world. These people will put anything in the water, some float some dont. Its a good time.Usually we start riding in late april down their. Its somthing you need to experience. As for those blasters I actually may be interested in 1 in a few months depends on how $$$ flows. I also need a double trailer so if anyone runs across one local let me no.

FYI : no need for a drysuit yet ! we just hit Alum Creek Res. yesterday just a good wet suit that doesent flush you out is still fine, with socks and a hoodie ! And I finally learned to consistantly sidemount the blaster ""My leaky wet suit and the cool water helped !'' also winterized my skis so im done till daytona .

I don't mind getting wet, it's the air after....

Had a wetsuit , too restricive. Got XL drysuit, so if you see a 750SX with a clown riding, stop over. (ramps opp. beach)

I'm not real close, but in Ohio.
I live near Newark, and ride Dillon Lake, Buckeye Lake, and the Muskingum
River. I'm usually the only standup around, though I saw a few out
this year at Dillon.

Yeah... what's up man. I remember talking to you earlier this year. I plan on coming down to Dillon to hang out with you next season. Maybe you will want to come on up here for a day or so as well. I hope to get a gang of us to hang out, so normally there will be a couple of us riding together every week or two or so... keep postin up names if you know anyone with a standup or sport around akron/canton area. I live in Medina. I dont ride the Akron area. I have a crew of about 10 old school stand up guys riding the Marblehead Island area every weekend from May to October. One of the guys was expert National champion several years ago. Its fun but hard running buoys with the fast old guys. E me in the spring and ill give you directions.

Nope, wasn't me. Someone else may have it now. It expired in August and I didn't renew it. Thought I'd spend the money on something else.

not going this year... maybe next... I want to try and make it to some events later this year though so I will catch you at one of the other events. I will be on vacation this weekend through next and the ski is not done yet either... although its getting closer...
