i just used some epoxy resin on mine, but i also used stainless bolts instead of rivets , so i dont think its goin anywhere.
ime and a friend both used that bilge tubing they sell at blowsion and both of us have multiple holes in the hose after one weekend of riding. not sure if we got a bad batch or what. i would just go with some tubing from the hardware store.

i got these stainless fasteners for the pole. i think i wen too big. ill find out when i get home unless someone can tell me 1/4" is too big. if it is i might just drill out the hole to make em fit

i just read that GVPnVB is gonna use 5200 on his pole. i dont know where to get any of that stuff.

i ruffed up the inside with a sanding drum after gettn the epoxy out with wire wheel.

i used 1/4-20 ss button heads on mine so that should work fine. you can get 5200 at home depot and maybe even walmart. iwould reccomend the quick dry if you wanna ride any time in the near future.

went to pismo today. shortening the pole made a huge difference. i cut off 3.5" and with a new steering setup im lookin for 6" total but the way it feels now is pretty good. its really nice on the face of a wave and the bars arnt hittn your gut as hard but i did do a unintentional sub down a face.way worth the effort though.

looks good...you should modd that stock turnplate fr more throw...i can send you a pic of mine...its really easy..stan could do it no prob

im gonna and taylor told me to drill a new hole on my nozzle to mount the cable closer. it should turn pretty quick after doin those mods
