my SJ motor, who built it

i bought this ski a few months ago and was told it was a big bore with porting. a friend of mine just found the etching on the motor. in one pic you can clearly see DBP on the side of the motor and on the front it has LAMMLB. does anybody have any ideas as to who built the motor? thanks

Probably specifies who ported it or who it was ported for.

That is probably the abbreviated last name with first initials of the person who originally sent it to Pro-Tec to be ported. That is the way as stock head was engraved when I got it back from them years ago on an old ski I used to own. I guess it is / was their way to make sure the right part got back to the original owner.
