My RN build...ready for Daytona!

Here is what I've been slaving over for the past couple of months. It has a temporary motor in it for Daytona, but the hull is done.

Sometimes people ask for honest opinions of what people think......I'm not asking for that. I guess I'm like a woman that way.......I want you to lie and tell me you like it even if you don't!

Trust me....I put thought into them. I have ridden a few boats with them and just not sure they are for me.
Although....part of the reason I made the paint scheme simple is that it makes it easy to come back later and change things!

Nope, That's my Checkmate. My poor baby is COVERED in dust from all of the skis that have been ground and worked on in there this winter already.

Just think of the dust as a protective coating. That's usually what I do until i can't really see what's underneath it all. Nice ski and boat, I'll look for ya in Daytona.

you should try my ski in daytona..betcha like it

I will take you up on that.

I do about half flat water and half surf riding. The boats I have ridden with Tubbies have Chine walked something fierce on flat water. I have no doubt they will help when riding the face.
I am tall though and have never had much trouble getting my but off the back and keeping the nose out of the sand.
We'll see. I need to ride some more with tubbies first.

Nice work! Now you have room to work on my ski in there...j/k

I dig the paint, best colors scheme for a ski IMO. Now I don't want to see the nose of that ski bouncing off the sand bar. Did you just put a 61x in there? steal it from the sn?

I like your work. See you there.

Right now I have my Z Force ported 61X in there. I am debating where to go from here. I don't plan to go too crazy. Maybe big bore or Lamey cylinder. I want to keep the price from getting too insane.
I might send it back to Z Force.....that motor actually rips pretty good and I know he could do more with it yet.

Looks very nice! I can't wait to hear the weight on that thing once you get it down to Daytona. 10lbs lighter than mine maybe?
