rode today and wow what a difference!
as slop as surf gets but man this ski feels totally different.
flow control valve is the shyt!! think its stuck tho my waterbox got real hot. the umi angle throttle is perfect, opens fast and totally ergo. yay no more finger cramps!
im happy!

now the list of stuff that needs fixing
steering cable-melted through and rusted
throttle cable-little rough, but after lubing its not so bad.
bilge pump-froze up and got smoky. taylor jinxed it.
exaust hose, long one- kinda smashed, may be able to heat it and form it rounder.
carbs- loose butterfly makes it idle. im going to open it up here soon.
plastic one way valve on gas tank, not holding pressure.
install my TC nosepeice!! :woot:

got a one way from kragen and my ski starts right up now.. whoda thunk?
i had the flow control valve setup wrong, it was after the T to the pisser/waterbox. put it in before the T and it works perfectly. brap off the bottom is way better!
the ski is SO solid feeling now, cuts through the water like its not even there, the front end sure feels heavier, but im already used to it!
near epic conditions and ALMOST pulled a perfect roll today, if i had more height it would went round, but i got to get the nose up more. all i did was think "look under the ski" as i went off the lip, the ski did the rest! im leaning too far forward probobly. 08 is gonna be a good year me thinks. stoke level is through the roof!!!!!!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Creative RE Purchasing
Wow, I thought the flow valve was suppose to be after the t, not before.

What valve did you get? Pro?

Did you change the adjustment?

Just wondering b/c I just purchased one to install when I get done with my build.

well this is how it was

i figure there wasnt enough water pressure to open it and all the water just went straight out the pisser, path of least resistance. now its before the t i can see that its turning the flow on and off.
i got the regular one to try, its still ajustable, the ease of external ajustment isnt worth the extra 20$ to me. according to the directions it comes setup for stock/lightly modified motor, so i just ran it.
