made me go buy one too.

i have been wanting a helmet cam for 2 years. this one looks real easy to use and no need for a battery pack or big camera.

it was cheap 125.00 shipped

butti showed me that about 6 months ago, but then..it said it was "water resistant"....

now showing as waterPROOF......nice.

Slutty, I will be very upset if this cam doesnt debut at slaughter bay

we were talkikng about it the other day as well....John told me it was waterproof now and if it works good were both gonig to get one.....

that'd be tight...then no more camera hogging or tripping over each other...

I just saw that one. I have been looking all over the net for these in stock. I figure if I can't find a new on for $125 shipped I'm sure I don't want someone elses beater for more. It's at $108 and change. I'm sure it will end over $125 plus $10 shp. I want but I'll wait:biggthump:

btw - I assume it will be a bit choppy, but we are talking 125$ shipped, give it a rest here.... No helmet cam is gonna be good for full on dvd production, but it's good enough for me to check out what I'm doing while I'm rolling and so on... What a perfect wat to critique your body position. My cam will not be on my head, it will be mounted on my pole facing me, i will be able to reach over and hit the on button, do the trick and turn it off... werd...

Not to mention how awesome that view is when doing rolls and flips

It just takes $$$$!! They make them as smooth as you want:biggthumpup:

You must mean buying a different one correct?

I ment I love the idea of a unit that does everything itself, I really like this unit, I just don't like the playback...

And yes Nick I agree, for the price it can't be beat.... However, I was just wondering if there was a way to make it flow smooth, like somehow set it to smaller frame, or something...... But I will most likely have one of these come spring.

Found it for $99 shipped. Let's see how long it takes to get here. It says it will ship by Dec 30th. Think that means backordered there also. www.mountaingear.com

I totally agree with Nick. Pole mount is the way to go, I see all these vids off the front of ski's with lots of water in the vid. Can't wait to see the vids with eyes buldging out and ackward face expressions.

I got one too for $99 shipped from a link a guy posted at PWC .
Most places are sold out now though :banghead:

I've had a couple different setups that including the camcorder cost upwards of $1000 and the quality was OK so I love the price of this rig .
