no reinforcing, we'll see how good it holds up. The air intake comes in through the back of the hood where Pete's does and dumps out in front of the gas tank.

My prop seems to be hitting my pump, im getting a clanging when the ski is running. Does anyone think an 11/16 concord will just be way too low? Putting the concord next to the 14/18 swirl makes the concorde look like a toy.

It may be to low, but try it and see. Nozzle bore is a factor as well, my 12/17 swirl pushed my hull to 45 with the 650 b-piped motor. With the 78mm nozzle and short cone it had the same top speed as the 85mm nozzle, only the 85 was way more fun and quicker. I just repitched my SJ X-prop from 12/18 to 12/15, it was over 50 before and should be much more responsive down low now.

Riding in fresh water until everything is dialed in, tested, and i have confidence in the ski. I had my ignition quit on me after an hour of riding, had to get it warrantied. Real killer on the first day out.

Pete, The steering cover i made myself. I took the stock steering cover, cut it down to match the hood profile and fiberglassed it together and filled in the holes where the trim and fuel selector are. Ill take some closer up pics of it.
