The way to tell the engines apart is a big pin has 12 intake manifold bolt's and a small pin has 10 intake bolt's ! The wristpin measurement is in any service manual I do not remember I will see if I can look it up.

thanks guys i got both from the yamaha shop I just started and they dont know anything bout them got both for 400 and when I say both I got both skis complete for 400 they both turn over with a jump box so I was thinking they r both good

real easy, your pump should have an extra boss on it. drill and tap w/ a 1/4" npt bit and tap. thread in a rt angle barb from the plumbing dept at lowes/ ect.

run hose from the new fitting to the stock pipe drain in the pump tunnel just above the stock cooling line. then drill and tap the lower side of the aft clyinder exhaust manifold w/ the same tap. thread in another fitting, run hose from the bilge side drain tube to the new fitting on the manifold.

call it done and go ride.
