Hey guys I just picked up a 1990 sj all stock with the 650 of course. I have a 1994 raider that used to be what I rode all the time but now I want that 701 in my superjet. Any suggestions on if its a good idea and will my raider be a slug with the 650? The way I look at it is id much rather have that power in my sj. Its a purple hull raider so the 650 may not be horrible. Thanks for the advice fellas!

Stock for stock they are very similar though right?

Your raider has a 62t/62t 701, 62t cylinders are not that great on bottom end, you will gain alot of top end though. Best bet is to find 61x top end for the raider motor or sale the 650 and get a 61x/61x 701 motor
