Motor mount adhesive; type and where to buy

My ski is almost finished, but the damn rear motor mounts have came loose. I am talking about the mounts in the hull that are glued down. Superramjet used pliogrip by ashcroft, but I can't find it anywhere or any info. Valvoline makes a few pliogrip adhesives, but can't get any more info on it so far.

So, what are you guys doing about your motor mounts coming loose, and where to buy the product you used.

This is for my FX-1.

If I ever have that happen to me I will try using epoxy resin with some 404 adhesive filler. That stuff is strong as hell.

What motor mounts are you referring to? Aren't there simply four motor mounts to hold your motor in place? Each of the four are bolted into teh hill with two bolts each, right? I don't recall anything being glued?

I thought he was referring to the inserts in the hull that the mounts bold to.

I am referring to the mounts in the hull, the hull inserts? Where you bolt your rubber engine mounts to in the hull. The actual thread is fine, but the mounts are glued in. Same glue I believe that they use to glue the hood baffle in with like on a SN hood, that hard green stuff.

if I am not mistaken the FX-1's motor mounts are actually on pads that are glued to the bottom of the hull, not the formed sections like a SJ hull.

when i re-inforced my fx-1 i layed some biaxial over them and glassed them to the hull. i dont trust that glue.

Same thing happened on my battery box, did epoxy resin and filler. I hope the motor mounts hold tight, at least for this season.
