The rapids looks like hella fun. A few years ago back before our drought, we had some big rains that gave us some rapids to ride on a local river. It was definately a rush. The only problem and big danger besides the fast water was the debris that could easily foul up the pump. Riding rapids is probably the biggest adrenaline rush I have had while riding a ski.

The indoor footage is from here in Belgium (Ghent). Yves Van Heers organised the event. Weekend 1 there was a wind surfing event and the 2nd weekend was for jetski racing. It was pretty sick...
Lot's of noise, smoke and... incidents. R/A going up the gunwalls, standup's crashing into each other...

The downhill thing, is a rafting training site.

We got a few local rivers here that have rapids, but are super shallow and with lots of rocks. I've learned my lesson that fiberglass and rocks don't mix! but the jet boats here have teflon bolted to the bottom of there boat to slide over the rocks. I've been throwing the idea around for tefloning the bottom of a sxr and seeing how it will work. Just wondering if the hull ifself could handle the impact?

That looks like the Niagara River but slower. They need to give those skis some gas and rip through those rapids!

It is actually easier if you are standing. :fing02:

Looks like a blast, but it definitely seems like it would be easier with a bit more speed. I assume its deep enough to let you punch through some of the swells. I could understand going slow if there were rocks under all that, but since it's man made all they really need is some :brap:
