minus 2-7/8 steering relocate

Just now working on it since I had to replace the tower plate and steering cage, plenty of room just need to shorten the rod and re-thread, pics today. Did flip the arm on my Acusteer so the ball is pointing up however, seems to help with the swing.

I know I do, the boat never feels right unless I run a notch or 2 of trim up in surf, should help a bunch and get me standing more straight up. Not to mention easier re-boarding.....just look at the bar positions on all the standups!!

I stopped in on George today and saw these on one of the boats he has in the shop (many), kind of a cool cheap way to get the bars up and you can move them fwd and to the rear as well!

My buddy had a set of bar risers for his quad. They seemed pretty solid. I thought it might be a good way to go someday to angle the bars back.


He didn't have this exact one but it was a similar design for a similar price.

I found some 3/4 inch polycarbonate sheet to put down before installing the stem, it will cover all the holes, raise up, add strength, and clean up the top so ready for some padding and turf on that area.

Well...yea, with a pole you minus to shorten the pole, with the X2 you minus to reduce the reach. Well sounds good anyway...:shocked:
