Other minimum age to ride

i live in vegas and i want my boy to ride.. he is 12 now, but will be 13 on july 20.. i have a friend in utah put their 13 yr old thru an online course that took a week, but was then ceritfied to operate small watercraft.. does anyone know if nevada does something simular?? i cant seem to find anything..

The minimum age varies from state to state I know michigan and florida are 14

Ohio used to have no limit...now it is 14. My son will be riding his own square nose by 7.
