yes, that was a 48 that I bought down for you to measure.........i got it from chick, who got it from...on nevermind, you know the story...

but we also have a 46 on a ported T cased 701.....Bill was never able to make it run to the point he was happy with it (it ran good, but he wanted more bottom end..)....

i ran that single 48 on a portolicous 82mm wiseco bore.....ran GREAT until the waterjacket cracked due to missing a girtel stud..

now that 48 will top off my magoo 701 if I ever put it togehter...(on T cases of course..)
thanks for clearing that up for me Idok.

I cant understand it etheir
i never take spare carb bits to the beach with me
once they are working they are working
I have had a set of novis on a ski and not touched them for 3 years othe rthan a small tweak on the top end between seasons
which you would have to do for a single anyway

brraap....thats so 2002
well matt if your going to do it heres a nice carb i was thinking of using. 49mm looks like it requires a fuel pump.

I know....that's one I have been eyeballing, along with the Riva.
I am not sure that this one is worth $239 more than the Riva carb.

Several of us Oside Riders have had that problem. I think one of them went in mex. Fortunately, we had spares.

Someone asked about carb orientation. This is a quote from the X2 thread in the news thread referring to my single carb being oriented wrong.

"The way you have the carb , the fuel from the progression holes can run down the manifold wall onto the bottom at low speeds. If you have it pump out, if the fuel runs down it is on the topside of the manifold an once it gets to a step(reedblocks) it will drip off and fall into the airstream."I just broke my return spring on a 6 month old 46 mikuni. That was a little hairy until I got a hold of it and hit the kill switch. (No lanyard:bigeyes: ) I broke one on my 94 SJ last november but that was original I think. They wear thin and eventually break near the end.

I want this:naughty:
