Michigan to Lanier

I'll be going from around monroe to lanier im thinkin friday morning. More info to come. Will have a full size f150.

Ann Arbor to Lanier. Down 23. I suspect team up with Cybermob, Romack, Me, Superrob, Dan stein, Superjett (halfway), maybe abe (sj13), steve? Smitty? Chuck?

Plan on leaving late thursday night i think (around 1 am) more to come later as well. We have at least my Overstuffed Tahoe with 3/4 place trailer.

i might have to talk to romack... i'd rather drive down that evening, drive a good amount and stay over some place if necessary. we could meet up when you get down to us and we are nice and rested though... haha.

if there's like 10 people heading down... issue will be trailer space not so much seatbelts.

as long as i get to ga with a ski, i dont care.

could be better if we go ourselves cause you could come to my place and then we take off. instead of me having to drive to MI or somewhere in OH.

I would be coming from Monroe as well. But the weekend before Lanier i will be in Jersey with Pete. Not sure if i will come home after that or just take a week and a half vacation and just head down the coast to georgia.

If i do come home, I have a tailer that we could easily fit 8 or more skis on. but i only have a regular cab truck so i would not be able to fit many people.

i'm thinking thurs i get out @ 3pm... i'm already packed and head down there and get there about 6 or 6:30pm. we take off and drive 6 hours or so and sleep wherever, about 8am the rest of the sleepless folks come down and we caravan from there...

Its really not that bad to sleep/drive. Two sleep, one drive. Room in the back to layout and sleep. But well meet ya in the morning. Rob doesnt get out of work till 11, so that puts him at my place at 1 am, and we leave.

Ice the drive isnt that long really.

And King, that eight place trailer would be sweet. Right now thats the only thing we are having trouble with, enough skis per trailer. Id be willing to pull it down.

I am leaving work early.. i can meet anywhere after 7pm. Last year we left at 1am because someone had to sneak out... and finish putting a ski together..

I might just do that. I was looking for more people to head down with to save on gas. the trailer i have, has four set of bunks in the back for skis and the front is all flat deck. I have a few things i made up to go under the skis so that they can sit on the flat deck. just two 2x4's srcewed onto 2 more peices of wood. just strap the skis down and its as good as the bunks. Its an aluminum trailer so its pretty light.

Takin' 28ft Classic enclosed car hauler towed by a 4x4 cummins dually with my Polaris Ranger and lots of skis in it. We might have roome for one or two more skis. I won't be sure till the time comes. I think Pete is going to fly his 310 down room for 6 in there. Anyone know the closest airport to lainer?

I wouldnt want to reailer that small trailer down there behind my car for 2 days through the mountains...
