The other day I was out riding. me a few buddies , and a nice malibu wakesetter, kicking a nice wake for us, started jumping it, did a few big inverted subs off it. then i decided to throw a barrol roll off it, twice i got 3/4 way around. pissed my self off, but what can i say? either way i went back a few more inverted subs, and boom mental block. went in for the roll, got nice and low hit the wake, big air, and bailed, this happend probably three or four times, after that i decided to call it a day. even my flat water trick where sucking exhaust !! but i had some huge kill inverted subs though. anybody else every experiance this ?

so basically and unexplained bail is your problem? Yes, Ive done some stupid things off waves and also in other sports like snowboarding or wakeboarding. The key is to always stay focused and get something into your head that will help that. Early this summer I went to do a stab off a small surf wave and I threw the ski 180 like a bulldog and almost landed on the hood. I dunno go see a psycholigist, lol.

i wouldn't say it was an unexplaind bail, i just had a mental block, like what am i supposed to do next, and just threw the ski away. it kinda pissed me off, I know exactly what i wanted to do ging into it, got low and forward going into the wake, came up threw the bars left and grabbed the gas, then from their i was thinking to myself, what am i doing, and threw the ski away, its like i knew i was going to eat it, so i just bailed instead.

I would call it an "off day". I think we all have these. It's not just ridding but with work and life also. Somedays are smooth and some days I catch every red light. Mabey it depends on what side of the bed you get up on?

Usually a good nights sleep, a good stretch and a little mental preparation make for a good ride.

Brad,

Rob traded in his 03 wakesetter for a new one yesterday and really wants to go out again today. Are you ready to erase that mental block. Call me if you can go. We should be out there by 4:30.

wel one of these days i get my butt back on the water, and throw the ski around some more, it just sucks that the water is cooling at an exponentional rate.
