cool pics, I would love to ride that! Is it legal to ride there? Or just legal untill you get caught? I would think the "park rangers" or whatever, would not like to see riders there because of the risk.

I'm not sure just how far up the river below the falls you can actual ride legally. I know above the falls there is a couple mile buffer zone that is illegal for any vessel to be in.

Just past Devils hole is about as far as you can go(Physically and leagally) there is a giant whirl pool up top which is fed by a rapid that would be impossible to climb. The river is a rush to ride especially going up and down Devils Hole. Also for the record I beleve Devils Hole is considered an Unclassified rapid. YOU MUST RESPECT THE RIVER!!!!!!!! Also for those who head up and dont want to ride or just lacking the skill level needed they have jetboats that will take you up devils hole. The boats are about 40' and look pretty safe. Definatly one of the better places I have riden. You can also play in the rapids further down the river, they are a bit safer but still a blast! I beleve we are going to try and get emergency air tanks for the next ride after what happened wiht Jimmy.

The canadian water police don't care but I guess in the past they have said that there will be no rescues so......................we are on our own when we go there.


The last ride I was at we actually went way up past devils hole and rode in the giant whirl pool!!! I could'nt believe we were doing it but I just kept following everyone up river. Once we got there you could see the EVIL AZZ next set of rapids. Those are NOT RIDABLE in any type of anything!!

Plus the entire drive home I felt like my car was sittin still and the earth was rotating beneath my car.

It's because the whole time you are riding you are 3/4 to full throttle and you are barely moving. That place is a trip!

Man that looks like a blast,Ive done 4 rivers on the east coast in a c2 but always wanted to do a river on a ski,all of them around here are to shallow.Has anyone ever seen a blaster hit the jump at devils hole? any pics? Seems like that would be crazy fun to take a b1 DOWN river few miles

The guy doing the Monkey Jump was a local guy from around here.= Scott Bonham. In the video that was his second attempt. His first was mindblowing cool. I have the first on video somewhere.
Paul has some river pictures on his web site, hes been up here three times know.

Jimmy ski got sucked down last Oct, has never popped up. $10000 gone just like that. At least we still got Jimmy.

It looks like it would be pretty tough to side mount a blaster in rapids. :scared:
