What's up with Malone this year. Is he retiring from Pro Competition?

Any news on Lenzi or Stone???? I am wondering what the spread is going to look like this year.

Spoke with Eric!!

Eric said he is basically taking the 2007 competition season off to focus on a new video, devote time to new EME product line, freeriding, and assisting other riders. He has a bunch of ideas, which he hopes will help take the sport back to the limelight, which other extreme sports are at. I will post more details later.

We are looking at a bunch of events and shows for the WFWA too. I have a Partial list at my site www.typhoontommy.com

I just met with city officals here in my local town here in michigan (20 miles north of hot hole, Monroe)about doing a jet ski event in either June and/or August. They seem very interested as I met with the executive director for over an hour.

Yeah, I talked with him sunday night. I tried talking him out of it by saying he couldnt quit untilhe was beat fairly, but to no avail.

I hope what he's got going on really helps out and the new video kicks ass. Now...he needs to just start showing up to regionals and schooling my ass on riding

Stone has skills.....big skills......but no way. Erics got ******** he's doing that no one even knows about. He doesnt come out with videos every week showing skills and no moves. He waits and he'll pop something out when he needs to. Reserve bank I'd say:sneaky:

Right Waste! IMO Competing just takes so much effort with minimal prize $$ to be made any more for all that effort to drive, get ready and do 2 mins.
He has been doing this his whole life, I just think he wants to focus on other things.

You may be right Jesse, but people will still say Eric is afraid to compete against Stone if he quits now IMO. I dont think so, but people will say just that.
Hopefully Eric and lee will both show up to Havasu this year. I'd like to see Eric beat him straight up and retire from competition on top.

I did notice that Malone was shooting some video down in Daytona. He was wearing a backpack and helmet cam in the surf. :biggthumpup: I think it is cool he is taking off this season. IMO he did not really have allot of comprtition this year. The guy from Japan did good but I don't see anyone matching Malone unless they have the power that he is making.
