For under $115 :veryhappy: (70 for materials + 40 welding)
After breaking two poles I was a bit paranoid so I decided to make a stronger solution. I modeled it after the old 'goose' pole first making a mock-up out of some pvc I had. The final product is made from 6061 aluminum weighing in just as light as stock! I do not have a pole spring solution at the moment but don't feel as its needed either. Also had to make a fiberglass chin pad, but that was the easy part. Extremely pleased with the final product

Oh and I will not make another as I don't have time, a shop to work in, & my welder maxed out his welder at 170 amp blowing the fuse several times! He said it was very thick aluminum to work with.
