So I had a fatal air leak and melted my rear piston. Shot Paul an email and we discussed the options and settled on a rebore to 82.5 per hole, some Pro-X pistons and the rest of the necessary parts for a top end. I was hoping to have it back in time for this weekend, but figured it would take a miracle. I shipped my cylinders and carbs to him.
He ordered up my parts in advance. He got my cylinders in the same afternoon the pistons arrived in Georgia. He turned it around that night and shipped them the next morning. :Banane09:
He has been awesome, I had a million questions because I've never destroyed a piston before or replaced one. He answered quickly and with good humor. I'd send him emails at 9:30 at night hoping he'd respond to me the next morning, but he'd get me an answer in ten minutes.
Got my cylinders and pistoms yesterday, put most of it together last night. Finished it up this morning and put a tank thru it today. It RIPS.
So now I have a 727 intead of a 701. I am a 727 Jet Pilot :smoker:
So to make a long story short; Paul you ROCK!!
