Thanks for the quick reply. I was wondering about that too, my main reason for needing a carb (and it can be stock), is that the throttle shaft bushings in my stock carb are worn so badly you can rock them on the shaft and get about 2mm of play. I think it's making the ski run weirdly. It will idle all day but when you start using the throttle the ski will run sometimes perfectly for a half an hour or more then start shutting down, sometimes it will run for 10 seconds before it shuts down. I think that the bushings are letting in air and playing havoc with my jetting. Usually I have to choke it to start it again. So if I can't pick up the big 42, I'll gladly take a 38 stocker as long as the throttle shaft bushings are in good shape.
