Just got some ODI Rogue grips and I'm having a hell of a time keeping the end plug things on... basically they fell off and floated away to Jetski Parts Heaven. I've got UMI 4 degree bars. Anyone had similar problems? Any tricks aside from gluing? Are the billet caps any better than the plastic caps???

Yes. The stock plug caps suck balls.
Either get rid of them (Looks like you did) or get the billet caps. They stay on tight.

Thanks for the info on the billet caps. I allways have to push my end caps back in and it drives me nuts but I didnt want to wast money on the billet if they were going to do the same thing. I see another order coming on.

The billet ones do stay on but the cheap screw that holds them in rusted in 1 ride .I REPEAT THE SCREW RUSTED IN 1 RIDE IN SALT .

WHY IS THIS PART NOT STAINLESS :aargh4:

I'm gonna call Blowsion and complain about this

Hangtime, if you get blowsion to concede and send you stainless screws, tell them to throw a pair in my box before it ships. I couldn't tell you if the screws in the plastic caps rust in salt... THEY FELL OFF

I'll take the stainless screws out of the plastic ones I never used .
Forget that .I'm calling Blowsion to find out why the screw turned rusty after 1 ride .

They turned rusty after one ride because they're not stainless, like everyone said! Just switch em when you get the better caps. I did that (heard about the problem from a guy at Blowsion by the way), and never had any rust problem.

Don't blame BLOWSION, they didn't make them, they just sell them.

I've had the Rogue grips on for a couple of weeks now. I think they're great, much more comfortable than stock. I've never used the Ruffians though. They Rogues do feel a little slick at first, but I suppose that's what gloves are for. I just like the whole idea of the locking system - everything is interchangable. For $20 or whatever, I can switch over to the Ruffian in 5 minutes. That's my take.

The stock end caps still suck though... has anyone mentioned that yet??? Is anyone at ODI listening????
