Well then my B-Pipe just got a whole lot more valuable! Art certainly does turn out a great motor using a mod pipe, but lots of people use a limited for low end.

I talked to someone years ago at FPP when I was first looking for a pipe. The guy there told me to go with the Mod Chamber. I ended up getting a Limited Chamber at the time, switched to a Speedwerx and then ordered a new Mod Pipe. I installed the Mod Chamber on a bone stock cylinder with the single carb conversion. I could honestly barely tell a difference, it did not have as quick a hit off the bottom but the power in the mid was stronger.

You can also use your adjustment screws to help tune the pipe to make it act more like a longer chamber.

Funny, cause my roommate just bought a brand new limited pipe from Factory Pipe. He asked if they were going to stop making the limited chamber and Cindy was like "Nope, and I'll send you one today"

Check your facts....

I would never run a mod on a customers boat out of choice. If they come to me with that then I will run it. the power is much more abrupt in the surf and it doesn't respond to small throttle inputs like a limited
I would have though fp would stop selling the mod before the limited

I have 2 SJ's which are both set up Identicle engine wise (all stock with B pipes) EXCEPT one has a limited chamber and the other has a mod chamber and honestly I can't tell the difference performance wise. I CAN tell a big difference when removing/installing. The mod chamber comes right out but with the Limited chamber I invent new cuss words every time I have to pull/reinstall it because its such a pain in the a$$. IMO I'd go with a Mod chamber if I were buying another even if the Limited was available

maybe they meant to say they stopped making them until the next production run?
