X2- The wide angle is only in focus for about 10’ anything else looks like it’s a thousand feet away which is why its only good for filming yourself. The regular lens is better for filming other people but the down side is you have to learn to how to use them (ie hold your head still if camera is helmet mounted) when videoing. Also editing makes a HUGH difference when using the regular mount as it’s impossible to hold your head still for very long while filming from a helmet cam. My rough Helmet footage is as shaky as anyone else’s. For example I’ve learned to hold my head super still for a few seconds at a time when filming someone do a BR or a BF, then edit out all the shaky crap leading up to and after the maneuver and only use the smooth good footage. Marks super clear footage was filmed with a Gopro wide. You can expect that same quality however you must pay extra for the Hi Def upload on Vimeo. It also takes about 20 hrs to upload your video in HD. As far as the mounts go, that’s our secret HA HA! I will say this the pics Frosty posted of Yamasluts mount is pretty close and Marks is a lot higher tech than mine!
