I know for the surf I will stick with the 701 based motor... less weight, and you dont need the crazy power.

I could definetly see that motor making some Big HP #'s! Just havnt heard much real world sucsess about them.

Hell my 780cc flattop motor will rip your freggin hands off!

yea at the moment it is still a little exotic . at the fact you cant just bolt in and go plus you are starting over a bit at configuring your hull internally . but guys are getting 400 plus hours if the valves dont fail on sitdown applications and i would say for the most part they are in the upper rpm range alot more than we are on a stand up .

I would call it exotic only because you need a specialty hull to bolt it into....

couldnt you just run waveeater clips (same as GPR's) for reliability?
