Well I live about 40 min from your Unc... but my ski is currently sitting on the beach in Crystal beach.. I leave it on the beach cart so every time i go up there is no need deal with the boat launch. It would have taken me forever to get there. Well lets just hope We either get a big wave day or double boat wake

And as for getting lips of waves? If thats what your talking about yes we do get some lipped waves. Depends on the location. Im pretty sure where Frosty and 701superjet ride they both jet some lipped waves on certian days. Up where i ride in Ontario off the peak of this one bay (Point Abino) On certian days when the wind blows the correct direction and the correct speed we get some wicked waves. People surf there certian days.

Sorry Xeon... last minute decision to ride... and didn't know we had any surf until I passed through Hamburg on my way home. I'll call you next time... hoping for some waves this weekend for the Can-Am ride bro.

a lot of the time the lake is flat to choppy (1 - 2'). If you go too far out the waves are just large wind swells and a lot of chop in between... pretty tight intervals too.

But near Sturgeon Point marina we get a wrap around effect - the marina jetty protects from the chop and acts like a point break for us... the wave intervals spread out and they can get peaky, and if big enough glassy too. The bottom in this area is not sand, but shale, so lawn darting a nose stab is not advised... right Eric? LOL

Yeah, real sorry we went to dinner. If it makes you guys feel any better, we were sick about it the whole time! There were people surfing the bay in front of the bars, actually a few barrels roling in! Well I see there is no rush now to get your bow eye tow strap fixed, lol Gotta make Frosty the new Go pro expert on this end of the lake
