So saturday we had SW winds 10-20mph producing some small surf, 2-3 footers, occasional 4-5 foot sets.
Just me and Kawaextreme (Eric) riding... having a pretty fun time. Eric decided he wanted to finally try his first BR. I coached him through it... he threw his helmet on... and off he went. Four attempts, four inverted subs, but for his first time (and on an SXR too) I think he did really well. He made it 1/2 way around on all four attempts. :biggthumpup:
With a little more practice I think he'll be landing them. :Banane01:

Well, unlike our brotha's on the Cleveland end of the lake, we have been having quite a wavy summer so far. :headbang: The 4th of July was insane, and other than hitting bottom nose first pulling a huge nose stab (off a 6'er), and having to fix the damage (thank God for Kenney Keepers) it was a killer day. Spent a few days fiber glassing, reinforcing, and replacing parts after that...
Yesterday though, I really frigged up my upperback/lower neck, attempting a BR off the backside of a wave on the way into the beach. Very bad landing!! :banghead: :crutches:
Hopefully you Cleveland boys will see some waves soon... I need the rest!!! :biggrin:
