Kicking around the idea of shortening my hull...

I want to but then it will only be cut back about an inch, which I guess would make tons of improvement just at that with the pump back..
no it has 2.
figured I would would bring the mounting ears back but not sure how to make the pump longer unless I cut a section out of a spare pump and weld it onto another one... then maybe I would have to make the warering bigger??
damn it I need a pump to look at

Search X2 Guy's posts on PWVToday. He had a piece on an X2 that set the pump back. I don't know what to tell you about the ride plate mounts. On all Kawies I have seen inside of they have a stainless steel nut epoxied to the hull. Well that nut rests inside the fiberglass. So unless you use a custom plate with some hull inserts, I don't know the best way to do it.
