Me and addict have been talking about it since we got into this sport, and if a few people would like to see it happen we will get something together. Now this wont be a fancy freeride or anything like that, just good friends having a good time together (outlaw ride)

we have a beautiful area here and i think we could accommodate about any situation. We can do camping, there are some nice hotels or cottages on the water and we also have a huge rec area for off road, atv's, bikes, and jeeps/buggies if you want to make it a dual purpose trip.

Turkey creek recreation area is an off road paradise for anyone that likes to trail ride or rock/hill climb.

The lake is also very big, one of the largest man made lakes in the usa.
covering 160,300 acres, and 2,300 miles of shoreline.
we can have a couple of big cruisers for "V" wakes and if we get lucky and the wind is in our favor that weekend the channel can get real nasty in the fall when the damn is drawing a lot of water to produce electricity.

cool guys! i know we can have a fun weekend no matter how many come. how many are interested in camping? or staying at a resort? if we want to camp as a whole and have several wanting to ride the trail park we can camp right on the water and beach the ski's over night and also have the dirt toys play park in the same area. but we cant do all that at any of the hotels or resorts. so what do you guys really want?

im down for camping:arms:

Dude we should have it around the blues fest.. That would be a blast.
There are places we can do both camp, or stay in resorts, whatever. I of course would rather camp, but that's just how I roll.
I say lets go for it. Regardless of turn out, it will be a blast. Actually with a small turn out it wouldn't be a big deal to load up and head for Tennessee and hit some of the floating bars up on ski's.
Options are almost endless here. Some parts of the lake are calm and quite, others full and crazy. Party coves, party barges, rock quarry's, bars, etc.

Nice.. We'll start planing on some dates in the couple weeks and try to get something set everyone can work with later in the fall.

these are the blues fest dates. if this works well for everyone then i think it would be the best time to have the ride.

........

yea and thats kinda the start of wave season up here.........late sept>?
I would love to check that blues fest looks bad arse........

The only bad thing with the Blues fest is cops.. They'll be out in full force. Might be way better to have it on a more low key weekend. Besides it'll be hard to ride with all the jamming going on. Lots of boats though.. I'd rather just do it when everyone else can, or wants to make it happen.
