I just installed a 42mm Keihin Racing carb on my 750 sx and im having issues tuning it because it always seems to be running rich and when i go to low with the screws (low & top) it runs terrible , i go to high runs terrible. If i stay close to 1 it slowly accelerates and goes about 20mph. I believe i need different jets but if i do what size would i need?

the stock jet on the manual says

Main jet #140, JS750-A3~: #145
Pilot Jet #75

idk what that would mean exactly .
On the 42mm carb on it now , the low end jet is an 83

pm jjc568 he runs the same carb on his 750 i think. he is always messing with his carb. You should buy the adapter for you mani and run a mikuni they are easier to tune.

Don't listen to all the hype. Keihin's are awesome carbs. They produce the same or better power with a smaller throat and use WAY less fuel. The problem is they are harder to tune and a 1/4 turn can be the difference between piss poor and perfect.
