Over the winter I just built up a 750SX, I am into it for about $1800. It's got a clean running motor with 180 compression heads, footholds, hydroturf, paint, bilge with switch, grips, flame arrestor, dual carbs, impeller and intake. It is my first stand up. I had painted it, idk if its the incorrect primer or water is inside the tray but it is bubbling on the outside. The paint was mint and I spent alot of money, I kinda went over board on it. Now it's bubbling, seems like it started to happen after I washed the ski. I still haven't put it in the water and I dont even know the condition of the pump. It looks to be decent with only 2 minor chips in the vanes. Now im worried if I put it in the water, the paint is going to bubble tremendously and start looking like

. Or alot of water in the tray even.. Should I keep it and not worry about it? Cut my loses now and get a superjet/waveblaster? Or tear up this fresh turf and try to find where its leaking? This is my first stand up, I bought this as a project and feel like I got a real lemon. The motor is solid with no leaks and good compression. It doesn't idle as it is I feel like its starving for fuel.
