SX/SXi/SXi Pro Keep or sell?

Over the winter I just built up a 750SX, I am into it for about $1800. It's got a clean running motor with 180 compression heads, footholds, hydroturf, paint, bilge with switch, grips, flame arrestor, dual carbs, impeller and intake. It is my first stand up. I had painted it, idk if its the incorrect primer or water is inside the tray but it is bubbling on the outside. The paint was mint and I spent alot of money, I kinda went over board on it. Now it's bubbling, seems like it started to happen after I washed the ski. I still haven't put it in the water and I dont even know the condition of the pump. It looks to be decent with only 2 minor chips in the vanes. Now im worried if I put it in the water, the paint is going to bubble tremendously and start looking like :):):):). Or alot of water in the tray even.. Should I keep it and not worry about it? Cut my loses now and get a superjet/waveblaster? Or tear up this fresh turf and try to find where its leaking? This is my first stand up, I bought this as a project and feel like I got a real lemon. The motor is solid with no leaks and good compression. It doesn't idle as it is I feel like its starving for fuel.

Either way I begun to clean out the carbs, I think there were a little bit of dirt inside the pilot circuits. I have no external fuel filter probably reason dirt was in fresh carbs. I just want opinions. Part of me thinks a clean superjet ready to go would be better than this 750SX in the long run. The other part of me says keep it, forget the paint and just enjoy it. so much new parts. I just want to hear what everyone else would do.

i painted two skis and you have to be careful if you stripped the ski, the stripper never comes out of the fiberglass and bubbles over time, i would go back to the guy who painted it and go from there, the best way now is to remove the stock decals and have someone go wild with vinly and trick it that way , i will never paint a ski again, just wrap it in vinly and it will lokk just as bitchin
