Kawasaki 800 sxr problem

Hello , I have a 2010 Kawasaki 800 SXR that I have had for 2 weeks. A couple days ago I started it up in the morning and went for a spin around the lake. As I was driving around the lake I noticed it was jolty for some reason it would take a few seconds for it to go once I gave it throttle and then it would immediately slow down and then keep going. Anyways I parked it and then took it out again later that day to notice that it only went at a very slow speed and when I gave it gas the engine Reved but there was no movement, it kinda vibrates aswell. I found this video online of when stuff gets plugged in the impeller and the jet ski in the video has almost the identical problems to what my ski has except I have no weeds in my impeller the only thing I might have sucked up is sand. Any information or ideas on what might be wrong would be great , I’m at a remote lake and there is no marine shops within 4 hours of my lake - thanks
Nicholas

Sand. I've had sand grains wedge between my impeller and wear ring before on my old Kawis, a couple of times on my sj too. The ski will really rev hard but not move. It always cleared itself out though, just keep it in the water and play with the throttle. Sometimes it takes a while to wear down enough to fire out.
