Just ordered my first set of footwells

I just ordered my first set of footwells. Kinda late in the season, but I'll get em in for what riding is left this year. I ordered the rickters with mat kit from wamiltons. I know I could have saved a little money with not purchasing the pre cut mat kit, but I want this install to be very straight forward so I can get back out and ride as soon as possible. I could have waited an extra week and got the pre cut mat kit that does NOT have the Wamiltons logo, but I didn't want to wait. So I'll be sportin the wamiltons logo until the ski gets re turfed when and if the ski ever gets re painted ( and it really needs a paint job). I'll keep you all updated.

Hopefully you've already thought of this, but make a templete of the pre-cut kit before you install. Then when you re-turf, you can use these and just buy the sheets turf.

I just turfed mine today. For a quickie job with footholds I've never turfed before from sheet, it was pretty quick - 4 hours from beginning to end.

These are Watercraft Factory with 25mm underpad.

You'll do fine, just remember to whack it with a rubber mallet too.

That looks killer. Hope I'll be able to do it that good one day.

after usin a ski with the watercraft holds, I think I'm gonna do the same. I love 24/7 products, but the watercraft holds are so comfortable and hold better.

nice turf job. Those footholds feel great don't they, i am scrappin the 24/7's and getting some this winter.

yep, after riding Parr's boat for the second time down in Houston and actually doing some tricks (rode it in Lanier, but no tricks) with them, I was sold. Very comfy, plus enough room to use 25mm padding on the bottom.

Word up.. I love people that try my boat.... Because they get hooked... I should call my boat Crack.... Those footholds and thick padding, with a little trim out like..... http://www.pancakepete.com/pski4.jpg
Lets just say, you could not pry my boat from my dead lifeless fingers !:Banane01:

The turf is actually a lot easer to do in sheet form v/s a kit. With a kit the turf needs to be put on in the correct position and with a sheet you glue it on then trim it off to fit.
