You buying the CD gives you the right to play the songs for yourself.

Putting it on the Internet violates the license, per DMCA.
 
that's strange they pulled your video. on my vids they just send me an email that says "you violated copyright law but we're going to keep your video on youtube as long as you let us put ads on your vid." so i said ok... some of my vids have 100k + views so it benifits them to keep em up. ---seems like they are going by a double standard ..-- following the law only when it benefits youtube/label.

Youtube has nothing to do with it.

If the copyright owner wants the video pulled, they'll get it pulled. Youtube simply has to comply.
 
I have to disagree with the Pennywise support thing. I had 3 videos pulled that had Pennywise songs. The worst part was they came from the album they gave out for free and told people to do what they want with it. I was tempted to argue it, but figured youtube could probably pull most of my videos so I just let it go.
