ya i am sure it wont be nearly the same. its going to be a under 1k $ "investment" that fits in the garage with both cars and i can let me buddys ride it and leave it in the truck with no worries. i had a hard time with the 6k $ ski.
plus 2 people can ride so that will be kinda fun. i may go with a factory pipe down the road they want around 400. there is pipes on ebay for 250 but they are old. for now i will just leave it stock and then go from there.
thing has alot of cool features. like 4 or 4 dif trim selections and no stupid lanyard, a cool choke built into the start stop switch and no more premix. kinda hard to get at the engine but i wont be messing with that stuff anytime soon.

you are funny, a factory pipe for a x2 will cost you over 400 dollars complete, nobody uses the choke, get a primer, nobody rides a x2 with two people on it and in surf if two people fell off good luck getting back on, a lanyard is a good idea all the hardcore x2people install a lanyard, and before i laugh even harder a stock x2 is not fun, and the trim is useless unless you have a a aftermarket trim system on it , to make it half decent you need a carb, pipe, prop, check out the x2 section for more info

i have looked at the scematics and looks like its on 2 studs
should i get vise grips and turn both studs out or remove fuel tank and the pull the item strait out.

well that was fun.

took about 2 hrs.

had to take off the flywheel cover take out the gas tank and battery.
once the flywheel cover was off i had to pop out the oil pump from the back end using vice grips and some lube. after about 10 hits it was starting to free and then it finally came out. it was really really frozen on there the use to nuts to take off the 2 posts and then i put the cover on. and put everything back and now i can run 50-1

really happy i did not mess anything up i will post pics soon.

Looks clean!

Do yourself a favor- If you plan on keeping the fuel filler door on there, grind off that little piece that sticks into the hole and just put a hinge (like from a door but a smaller one) on there. Those parts are the first thing to fall off especially in the surf! I ended up just glassing over the front and made it an internal fill.
