Jetworks flow valve parts

Does anyone know if you can get just the guts of a jetworks flow control valve?

I think the ball and spring are worn on mine. I pumped it with a popoff tester and it leaks by. Can't even build pressure even with the valve adjusted as tight as possible.

I'd like to get a new ball and spring if possible.

I gave it a quick look last night and it didn't look like the mating surface was messed up. I think years of riding close to the beach has sandblasted the ball out of round.

I put a new one on last night and I was able to get it up to almost 15psi with popoff tester.

I will tune it in the water today, but it did prove my old one was bad in some way.

Glad you posted this up @BruceSki,the rubber washer in mine is looking rough and wondered where another could be had? The washer looks like a thin one

I really think the spring is whooped or the ball is out of round. Inside the side where the ball fits in the taper looks great.

Thanks for the pic it's helpful to understand what's in there. I just installed mine and never even checked what PSI it was set at. Gonna pull it out and check mine tonight. What's the recommended range for PSI on it?

Or do you just keep tightening it and feel how hot your head gets?

I put the nose of the ski against the dock at the boat ramp with the hood off and the flow control held overboard. I keep tightening until I like what rpm it opens at.

Setting by psi is stupid because everyone runs different methods of cooling and may have different pressure in the cooling line supplying the flow control.

Your flow control shouldn't change the temp of the head on your ski either?
