well i stopped by my buddies house when i was doing my daily driving around during work hours and he was franticly dismantling his ski in hopes of getting it on the water this weekend...he has a protec pipe on a 701 not ported w/ a 46 blackjack carb w/ riva head(pump gas)...anyways the pipe has been a pain sense he got it..when he ws inspecting his ski today he noticed that the mount that attaches the chamber to the cyl had snapped in half...dont ask me howbut it did...also one of the manifold bolts is broken off in the cyl...well we decided that we were done messing around w/ that pipe and he called up blowsion and dropped the coin on a brand new factory b....

anyways my question is: im assuming that the jetting on his current setup should be fairly close to what he needs for the bpipe.... i understand it may not be spot on but it should be close enough to get him through the weekend...am i wrong?????.... current jetting is below..will switching pipes make that much difference???...thanks:skull2:

It should be fairly close. Expect to do some tuning, but if it was tuned before, you don't have much work to do.

You're able to get a brand new B-Pipe? I'm surprised blowsion has them in stock

I don't they've ever had an issue getting b-pipes out.

Jetting should be fine for at least a weekend, especially if he was already tuned for the protec. Heck, I've got a new Mach 1 on my 650... haven't touched the carb. It runs great (on the hose... sitting on a trailer... in my driveway)
