Jet Ski Stock Spark Plug Chart

My friend whiterice1 who is putting together a spark plug list for his car forum homemadeturbo.com found this little list of stock NGK spark plugs and a recommendation for race plugs, for PWC's... thought it was pretty cool. maybe it can be posted in the FAQ...

Most everybody should be... but that is what came stock in most SJ from the dealer I believe.

I went to Auto Zone and they didn't have the NGK BR8ES.... but they had the NGK B 8ES.... said R stands for resistor and in a jet ski, this doesn't matter..... are they full of it... or is that correct.... I bought them and they seem to work fine..... should I find some BR8's or am I fine?

its fine to run, but if you have an aftermarket ignition, you should get the R to cut down on electrical interference.

Even with aftermarket ignitions, resistor plugs are not necessarily required.

if your ski is stock you need to run "hs" plugs if you have a stock head
