Stopped by the beach after work today, nice clean 3-5ft sets.

I am working on something good. just not as easy as I thought it would be.. let you know when/if it happens... i am trying to make it easy to get across the beach.:eek:mfg:

we are pretty much limited to brick beach 3, and ortley.

The rager spot is fenced off now too ! :thumbsdown:

DJ you have ridden 7 presidents? How did you know about that spot?

You can get a launch permit there and launch across the sand anytime, but you just have to surfride out of the park boundries between memorial day and labor day. Which isnt an issue, since the southern part of Monmoth Beach is mostly private mansions on the ocean with little public access. Its actually LEGAL to surfride during the offseason in the park boundries and they have a section specifically for that. I have never ridden there myself, but I have seen a few SXR's get launched from there in the middle of crowded beach summer weekends....with no problems at all. As soon as my brother gets back from school in August, we plan to ride there ALOT. I just cant pull my ski across the sand by myself. Plus its less than a mile from my house! I have another spot near there that I know you can launch no problem.

I'm going to try to stop by tomorrow and get the permit and all the details for the park. Ordered a new coil for the lightweight, but thats not going to be here till next week. Hopefully the X2 I have on the trailer is running good... I havent run it in weeks.

You said the permit is free right? When you saw those other guys launch there did they use carts or back the truck down the beach?

You still up for brick tomorrow?

I am pretty sure it was free. Cart only.

I am up for Brick as long as my friend and I dont buy a speedboat he is looking at tonight. If we buy that, then I might need to get the boat in the marina tomorrow night. I'll let you know later tonight.

I rode there years ago when I came into Jersey for a race and freeride lessons with Joe Kenney.

My friend Aaron used to live in Jersey and rode there all the time. We smooth talked the park rangers and they told us after 5pm nobody would bitch...(lifeguards were off duty!)

Remember, this was years ago!

Cant ride sat...
so sunday a bunch of us are going to BL for some filming ! :bananajump:
