Mike Young and I rode this morning and it was a little disapointing. The surf has good size but its coming from the wrong direction and every thing from the DMJ jetti all the way North past the river mouth was mostly walled out. For Fridays big swell we may mix it up and ride Point Loma in the morning and then maybe do a second afternoon ride on the outer reef at Dana Point. We're riding again tomorrow so I'll give you guys an update

Myself, Brad Weiss, Zack and Jake Bright all rode Pt Loma on Big Friday last week. It was consistantly in the 10-12' range with some sneaker sets in the 15'+ range. Despite us leaving at 5am, a group of paddle surfers beat us to the spot at Little Wiama. No worries though, we gave them first shot for any waves they wanted. It was really to big to paddle surf though and they caught maybe 20% leaving us with about 80% of the waves. The few that did catch a wave got the ride of a lifetime though, we certainly did. The problem for the guys surfing was that it took them about 30-45 minutes to paddle back out after each wave. To much effort for me for one wave, I'm glad I was on my ski, I must have rode 200 waves that day. We did our best to keep a few hundred feet away from them and I even towed a couple of guys out past the impact zone who were caught inside so the vibe was good. Jake Bright videoed, I've only seen bits of the footage, may be he'll post it up.

yea kinda. i tweeked the :):):):) out of my ankle AGAIN..... and the vid isnt going to come out i dont think. my bro was the only one filming and he didnt want to get crazy because hes ski is temperamental. then i filmed with my bad ankle so, could only crap surf ride and the cam had a giant water spot in the middle of the cam the whole frekin time.......... i do have a few pics from point loma though...

Tem It was freking awesome, double overhead for 4 days straight Fri got some triple overhead sets, Im still hurting

Sat we sat and watched all the Pro surfers going off, 3 guys filming and one in the water. My secret break holds 3-5 guys and there were 30 on it, guess its not so secret, damm internet
