sorry im a bit excited and going a lil crazy after workin on the ski from 1030am till around 11pm, but I finally got everything back together and hooked up. I know I should add this to my ski buildup thread but wanted to show it off, next week I should be having some X-H20 airbrushing on the sides by a buddy of mine. I kinda like it how it is now. Anyways, the projects been going for a few weeks now but the nice weather got me in gear so I worked on it every night after work for the last 4 nights so I painted on thursday and had it done tonight.
Is the minimum for turf to dry with DAP around 24 hrs, I used appliance epoxy paint and it seems prettly close to fully dry now, I can barely put a fingernail into it.

great job! you should let the ski sit in the sun for at LEAST 24 hours before riding. ideally, a week in the sun should cure the paint completely.

Looks awesome! I hope mine turns out half as nice. Did you use anything to seal the edges on the rails? And just out of curiosity, what's with the raised square between the foot holds?

yeah its stock just got the bolts tightened. anyways was at the lake yesterday abd dislocated my shoulder pretty bad wakeboarding, got to test out the ski for a while but ill be out about a month. im so bummed right now.85 out at 1130.

i put in the raised kinda square shape thing in just for ********s, kinda acts like the impressions that some ppl do and doesnt get in the way. as for the rails I just used dap let it dry really good put the turf on and cut at an angle, it should hold up good. with the turf, it turned out good imo for the first time but I stretched some areas cuz it was hot and the turd was stretchy but some parts ended up moving back after a while and I have some visible seems now, no biggie just a lil warning tho.

ive been trying to post for a while but it hasnt worked any reason whY, hope this works now.

legally they are supposed to be block style, contrast with boat(white on black & vice versa) and on the bow (and above the bond rail I believe).
