Ski is all back together and I fired her up for the first time tonight. I'm heading to the lake tomorrow to get a dose of brap from my new toy! I've got another few things to do before I post up pics of the whole build, but I couldn't help showing off my new power plant now that it's all up and running.

So freaking excited to go riding tomorrow :bananajump:

Wait a damn second.

Your hull is/was blue. Uh, that looks like some shade of grey/silver. Post more biatch.

All in good time BK, all in good time.... The color is temporary - I just wanted to paint the edges before I turfed - I sprayed the rest of the ski just so it didn't look like a POS before I get the final graphics sorted out.

OK, so here's my ride report from this afternoon:

Motor review:
Holy mother of freaking god!! Yup, I think that just about covers it :headbang: Instant brap from anywhere in the power band - I just love power valves! Got to dry out the pipe a bit and I know the XS exhaust will add some too, but this feels awesome. Chuck is a god :notworthy:

XFT foothold review:
Soooo comfortable, sooooo secure, and your foot just pops right out when you want it to. Sergio is also a god.

CATS/shortened hull review:
Whoa!! nearly smacked myself in the face with the pole the front came up so fast!

Properly grounded bilge pumps review:
So nice to ride without getting that tingly feeling in my right finger

All in all, I couldn't be happier. Just when I pulled out some kids showed up with a 750 SX that they had just bought and wanted to try out. We chatted and they rode for a bit and then wanted to see my ride their ski. Then one of them said "it would be great to have a ride on yours". Ah... no. sorry. :ugh2:

Like I said before, when Tem had it for sale.
This engine is just a little smaller (822cc/83mm bore) and is an exact replica engine (862cc/85mm bore) of the ski we won at World Finals in '08, just add some upgrades and you have world championship engine package.
This engine is a beast for a 900cc amateur class, add race gas domes, add a set of Full Spectrum 49's. add MSD -TL, add PFP dry pipe, add Mag pump, then put it all in a carbon Rickter,(well that's what we used then/use X-Scream carbon now) practice and go win the World Finals with it.
Glad to hear it went well for you first time out!
Chuck
