Stick with stock and have it milled down if possible. I used a high comp head popping at about 205 psi, ran 98 octane, all it did was cost a ton and smell cool lol. There was zero performance improvement and it blew a head gasket in 2 rides. The stock heads can be milled down a lot, you only really need about 0.020" of height from the flat surface to the edge of the dome on these. Kawi made them with as much as 0.065", it kept compression low and made starting easy but also made them lazy. They need about 145 compression to work well and some pipe mods to really bring them to a fun ride.
