Is this a good price?

Yup sounds good to me but there is no way to tell exact hours so a compression test would be in order .
I paid $2500 for my 97 a couple years ago with lowered bracket ,sponsons ,stainless prop ,umi steering and bars ,bilge ,primers and I thought it was a killer deal

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Come spring time that will be an awesome deal.

I bought my 03 absolutely mint stock SJ back in June for 3250 and it came with a really nice galvanized trailer that I was able to covert to a double standup/blaster trailer. I was really happy with the price I got it for because the thing looked practically brand new. The guy hadn't even removed the water spout off the back of the ski. I didn't know superjets came with water spouts until I got that ski.:dunno:

I say go for it. You'll be kicking yourself in the a$$ come spring time if you dont.

I hate to hijack this thread but I was trying to figure out what to ask for my 01 that is going up for sale. And this seems to be right on topic. Plus Showme might be intrested since I am reasonably close well under 4 hours drive.

01 SJ freestyle limited, speedwerx freestyle pipe, girdled head 179 front and 180 PSI, lightned flywheel, MSD, dual exhaust, scupper, shortned pole, shortned straight bars, handholds, new REV footholds, intake grate, Concord prop, hood straps and limiting rope, And a bunch more crap that I am forgetting but you know how it is. I am a fare weather rider so the ski don't have as many hours as you think.
