I think he meant hold out for a Superjet with at least a 701 in it.

Currently it's not a good ski for freestyle. It's 100% bone stock. It's a good beginner's ski and any Superjet can be made into a good freestyle ski.

I've got a TON of parts, so if you want a fast or powerful ski all you've got to do is bring money.

We always say "get the best ski you can afford. " and then mod it from there as your budget and skill permits.

Square can be a good freestlye ski with the right motor and mods. The 650 is underpowered compared to 701 or 760 people are running now. If you want to build it slowly and are new to skiing, buy it. Get the handling dialed in and all the hull mods, steering, HP, hood, footwells, etc. Then turn your attention on replacing the motor.

i wouldnt drop too much coin on a square. keep it cheap and sell it for a roundnose when your ready to start a build.

I have three SN's, 1 RN and an SXR and I still love my squares. My RN is by far my favorite ski. But there is nothing wrong with starting with a square.

I rode this dudes ported and piped 650 Sq up here a couple of times. I was surprised how hard it hit. It felt like my mild 701 at the time.
