Is my ski possessed !!! ?

Went out in the surf today, spent about an hour jumping a few waves, ski felt normal, then i had to switch to reserve on the fuel. Thats when the ski went mad, all of a sudden it had huge low end grunt and was performing better than it has ever done, nearly ripped my arms out. Any ideas why?

Cheers

Scott

Whatever it is i hope it stays like that, it feels great, and i grew a pair of balls today and had a few attempts at barrel rolls. I have now mastered landing flat on my head, hey its start !

i dont know a lot about engines but i am waiting for some sort of hole to be drilled into the pulse fitting on the carbs and a fuel line ran into it, would that have anything to do with it, will i notice any difference once that job is done ?

Could be any one of these things.

Seriously though,Your ski is leaning out. When you switch between on and reserve, the reserve line is empty, creating a air bubbl. when this hits the carb, the ski leans out. When the porcelin is white or very light tan, the ski is running lean. Plugs should be clean and brownish.
A local guy here siezed his motor , he was runnin WOT and ran out of gas. The ski will run for 10-20 sec with this "lean condition".
